The PhD Congress, organized by the Institute of Biogeochemistry and Pollutant Dynamics (IBP), is a platform for doctoral students to present and share their research work and to build network. Best Paper Award 2016 Environmental Science & Technology
Nicolas Walpen's paper introducing a flow injection analysis system coupled to electrochemical detection to quantify phenolics in dissolved organic matter was awarded the best Environmental Technology Paper 2016 by the editors of ES&T. Congratulations! In 2016, Environmental Science & Technology (ES&T) published approximately 1600 papers in diverse fields encompassing the full spectrum of environmental quality research.
Lenny Winkel is EAG Distinguished Lecturer 2017
Prof. Lenny Winkel was selected to be the European Association of Geochemistry (EAG) Distinguished Lecturer 2017. The selection is based on a combination of outstanding research contributions to geochemistry and the ability to clearly communicate these contributions to a broad audience.
